He wasn't sure but that feeling on his lips felt familiar somehow. Yuki was surprised but his hands slid to Snow's face. Maybe they shouldn't be doing this, maybe this was supposed to never happen but if this was the only way that he could comfort Snow then he'd do it.

This was his first kiss with a man and his body trembled slightly. But right now his knight needed him , even if it felt like he was slowly being toppled over a cliff. His knight was with him. So somehow it would be alright.
Pulling back to answer Snow, Yuki's face was red but he didn't care. "Thank you..for not leaving me." Then he placed his lips back against Snow's. He didn't want to let go or have Snow let go. But he felt like he'd finally found his home and it was with his knight.

So as they kissed Yuki kept Snow's face cradled gently in his hands as he softly kissed those soft lips.

Logic and sense weren't in the equation now as they stood so close, arms wrapped around each other in the midst of their kiss. Snow's feelings were at times far too big to rightly make sense of what his actions could be, and given their emotions had hit a boiling point, perhaps it was foolish but it ended up this way.

Snow knew he shouldn't have, but he couldn't seem to stop once that gentle mouth closed on his. The warmth and the comfort transferred from just a kiss spoke volumes more than words ever could. It couldn't be more clear that it was wanted or even needed from Yuki's end too, and somehow it felt right even if his mind wasn't properly reasoning anymore. His mouth parted to accommodate Yuki with a firmer, deeper kiss, his large hand moving to cup the back of Yuki's neck as he kept his arm wound around him and drew him more tightly against himself.

Yuki wasn't sure how to feel. Somewhere inside he felt guilty and the childish notion of 'Snow started it' wouldn't hold water. And speaking of, this was a far cry from the last kiss that he'd shared with someone. This kiss threatened to overwhelm him and claim him without pity or mercy.

Feeling the tighter tug on him, he had to stop this or he was going to be much further swept up into this kiss. And he shocked himself by not caring about that a whole lot at this point. Snow was dangerous and reckless, but then again so was he because Yuki hadn't fought it at all.

Snow eased up when he felt Yuki tense, the hero eventually parting enough to give Yuki a little time to recover. He knew he should have apologized, or let Yuki put a stop to it altogether but he was tired of fighting his feelings.

He swallowed and forced himself back a little, still not letting go of him entirely but just staring into his eyes. He felt like he needed this connection, more so than he might let on.

"You're not...mad are you?" Snow asked quietly, the painful thoughts and memories at least dying down to a dull throb rather than overwhelming him now. If he focused on Yuki, then things were better, right? Of course he couldn't completely forget Serah, but would Yuki really want to make him forget such an important part of himself?

Yuki looked at Snow and got lost in the eyes. Did the recriminations start now? Was Snow mad? Is that why he was asking? And he could only let himself stare into those eyes for so long. "No. Are..you?"

Was this what it was supposed to be? Yuki definitely lacked experience and he was more than sure it had showed. But instead of being able to out stare those eyes, he turned his head away just in case Snow was upset with him. He really thought about hugging Snow and finally he mentally berated himself so hard that he couldn't run away that he did. He didn't care what anyone else thought, he just needed to hold onto something or someone. He wanted Snow to share his warmth with him and do basic day to day things together. Hopefully he didn't blow it.

"No...I'm not mad." Snow gave confirmation by squeezing him into another embrace, not ignoring at all the plight that they faced. This was his first time feeling this way about another man, and when it came with the burdens it did that only complicated things more. In any case he just wanted to do what was right, what would be best for both Yuki and himself.

Hopefully, things would work out. He had to believe that they could, and then things would be fine, right? His hand came up just to gently guide Yuki's face back to him, to stare into those eyes.

"I don't know where things could lead but...If you're willing to give it a try, would you?" Snow hadn't expect things to happen so drastically, but here it was, out on the table for him to see. "This is new territory for me too, so. We can learn together." He was willing to take things slow. "I just...need you." Snow said softly as he lowered onto his knee to give him a level stare into his eyes.

He was shaking and didn't know how to face what had been so easy just moments ago. He felt Snow pull back at him and his mouth opened, wondering why he was being asked this. Well he knew the reason to that but he hadn't expected it. Well to be truthful he hadn't expected any of this. But he'd felt drawn to the man ever since the day they met and Yuki had no idea why. Yuki couldn't even bring himself to call Snow out on this or challenge him, there was simply none of that in him right now. So he could only hope that the other was sincere because he both looked and sounded it.

"You..you need me?" Hearing this made Yuki almost want to cry. He wanted to be needed. Why..how did Snow know what to say? So he stared and blinked repeatedly trying to process words that were coming at him way too fast. And what did he even say to this offer?

Yuki hated that his brain, so normally calm and cool felt so out to lunch. "I.." Several moments passed without another sound and then he almost threw himself into Snow's arms, holding on tight.

Snow knew he could have been much worse in the way he'd said or done things, but it was the only way he knew how in that moment. He was asking because he wanted to see if they could make it work. He saw potential, and like Yuki he'd felt a connection with Yuki and hadn't quite knew how to work it out into concrete words beyond that he felt he needed him.

"I never say things I don't truly mean." Snow said firmly, no sooner saying that though than he caught Yuki's shocked and simultaneously baffled expression.

The way he was precariously on his knee meant that the momentum of Yuki's launching himself in his arms caused him to fall backwards, Snow managing a "woah!" before he toppled backwards with the other on top, still very close to his face.

"Easy there," he laughed tentatively from his position on the floor with that shaggy hair still visible, though he accepted that the bursts of emotions meant that slowly, ever so slowly Yuki was opening up. He liked seeing this side of him, in any case.

Unasked questions ran through his head even as they toppled backwards. But he felt Snow's strong arms come around him and somehow he was safe. He struggled to get up in order to right himself. But as soon as he could, even if he realized their close proximity, he had to apologize. "I'm..truly sorry. I didn't mean to make you fall." And this was him realizing how they'd fallen and his face got really warm really fast, so Yuki had to get up.

Standing up, he held out a hand to help Snow up, not sure that it was the thing to do but it felt like the right thing to do. Still, there was the matter of the thing that made his head feel like it was spinning. "Snow..if..what you said before.."

Amethyst eyes looked at Snow, thinking of Machi and of Serah. If Machi ever showed up, things might be the other way around, so he chose his words carefully, mentally relieved that his brain was back to somewhat regular functioning capacity. "I know..things could go bad here or something could happen.." His voice trailed off, thinking about one of the girls showing up. Choices would have to be made then and even though Yuki had fallen for Machi, he hadn't asked her to marry him as Snow had with Serah.

"But maybe..we could see how it goes."

He laid there for a moment until Yuki rose and offered him his hand, not exactly having protested the position even if it was an accident. Slowly he pushed up with one hand while clasping Yuki's other, managing to balance enough to draw himself up.

"Hey, no biggie." Snow reassured him with one of his wide smiles. For a man who was his size, he'd been surprised Yuki had even managed to get him on the floor to begin with. When he caught that look in Yuki's face though he listened closely to his words.

There was a definite risk in both of them agreeing to being with each other, but if they could just try it then maybe neither of them would have to be alone and Snow could offer him the protection and understanding he so desperately needed. Snow too needed it. More than he let on.

Slowly he reached to place both hands over Yuki's, staring into his eyes. "I promise...That so long as I'm here, and so long as you want me...I'll be yours." His words were full of conviction as was his gaze, his inner strength shining true this way.

Amethyst eyes looked at Snow a moment, wondering what he was going to say in return. And when that smile came out, he wondered if it would ever stop being comforting and reassuring. Of course he hoped not.

Yuki was absolutely convinced that Snow needed someone to look after him for all of his outward bluster. And he'd been lucky to see beneath that bright smile to the vulnerable and lonely soul beneath. They were both taking a huge risk here and Yuki was very aware of it. He could only hope that he'd have the courage to step back if Serah came here, after all she was Snow's wife to be and first love.

These thoughts plagued him until he heard Snow speak and felt those hands clasp over his. Snow had his strange effect on him again, washing away all of his doubts and fears with a simple touch. Really sometimes Yuki wondered if it was a kind of magic. And his breath caught at the words. He really wanted to cry and hug the man again, but really he'd really overdone it with the affection as far as he went, though he was pretty sure that Snow wouldn't ever have enough.

So he smiled gently and kissed the top of Snow's head, speaking softly with a trace of wonder in the tone.

"You..really are a knight."

For Snow, it wasn't a light choice he was making. And even if it hurt to admit, being alone here would be a worse fate than what might happen to either of them together. His fingers smoothed against Yuki's softer ones as he bared his heart and spirit through his words, the kiss to his hair at least catching him somewhat by surprise and simultaneously making him feel content. From his position it was just easier this way to feel the warmth and the connection that they shared.

"Well, if I'm a knight, then you're my Prince. But I already told you that." Snow laughed, then gently moved one hand to slip his arm around Yuki's waist and stare him in the face.

"Mind if..I kiss you again?" He asked softly. He knew he was pushing it, but really if he admitted it to himself it was soothing in a way he couldn't rightly describe aloud.

Trying to resist this man's pull either emotionally or physically was futile. For Yuki Snow really was like the sun, and all he wanted to do was envelop himself in that radiant and comforting warmth.

He smiled softly, not minding that Snow thought of him as a prince and he went to say something when he felt that arm come around his waist. His words were cut off further still at Snow's request and Yuki had to admit he was curious. Would it feel the same? Would it be different? Why did Snow want to when it was probably painfully obvious he wasn't experienced in this realm at all. Emotions weren't new to him, but these kind still were.

Still, he nodded to Snow and cradled that ruggedly handsome face in his hands again, looking into those ocean blue eyes shyly. "Please.."

And if all of this was a dream, he did NOT want to wake up.

If Snow was the sun, then Yuki was easily the moon. They were pushed and pulled by each other, and needed each other's gravity to keep moving. What was more, Snow was sure there was so much Yuki had to give hidden on that side of himself he never showed another.

And even if this was just a product of their emotions on high, Snow didn't want to stop. Not yet. All he could think and breathe and want right that second was Yuki. But he was being careful too, far too aware that he could make Yuki uncomfortable if he pushed too much. For now, he solidified his words with another soft, yet experimental kiss, just as soft and yet with the way his mouth moved against Yuki's a little more needy than before.

He felt Snow pressing down on him a little firmer now. And his face promptly turned red at the feeling, not sure what was going to happen. Snow had the dominance and Yuki might not go down quietly but he knew in the end he would submit to the blonde.

So for now Yuki tried to memorize the pressure and the angle of their kiss and the pressure he felt against them. His eyes closed and he sighed, wrapping his arms around Snow's neck because right now, that man was the center of his universe as befitted the sun.

Both hands encircled his Prince as he held him tight and close just as he had the first time, his breathing almost hitching from the tingling that resulted. He didn't think it was appropriate to go too far with it, but his affection and his feelings were in some way communicated through every kiss he gave the other.

Soon he pulled back a little just enough to smooth his hand through that hair, grateful to have him close.

"I don't really want to let you go." He confessed as he whispered this against that mouth. Intimate moments like these were ones that would stay with him forever.

He'd clearly lost the ability to think awhile back and all Yuki could do at this point was feel. And what he felt was heavily drugged and something else but he couldn't put a finger on it. And of course now he couldn't even think even if he wanted to because Snow's kisses were the only thing that his brain was currently registering.

Yuki could feel something beneath all of it, but whatever it was, it wasn't getting through at this point. So when Snow pulled back Yuki felt dazed ad blinked a few times, mentally replaying what he heard because at first he hadn't been paying attention.

"Oh." It wasn't what he wanted to say, but he chose it because it was safe.

Looking into that somewhat dazed expression Snow just smiled, happy to see at least that he didn't mind it. Really, Yuki's reactions were endearing either way. He knew he shouldn't try anything else or it might get...a little more heated than either of them expected.

For a moment Snow just stood there as he contemplated his next move, though he preferred spontaneity he was at least trying to be somewhat considerate of Yuki in this case. "But...guess I have to, right?"

He braved a smile, realizing how long he'd actually been in Yuki's room. Somehow, he's glad they were the only ones in this hall. "Unless you want me to stay longer."

Yuki's eyes pleaded with Snow to stay but then his brain clicked to life as the distance became more than it was before. So he turned his head away and gave the answer he should give, not the one he wanted to give. "Yes..yes of course. Right you should..go." It was as if he was all alone again and the last..whoever who knew how long was just an illusion. Yes even the sun had to rest.

His arms wrapped around himself and he stayed turned away, full of embarrassment at how he'd practically thrown himself at Snow. Maybe things between them would change in the morning or maybe Serah would show up or..well who knew. "Thank you." he said, fighting the negative thoughts back as he turned around and slightly bowed to Snow.

The answer he got was a little disappointing, but he understood if Yuki needed space. Still, the sudden cold reaction he got wasn't good so Snow wrapped him in his arms for a warm embrace, and he leaned down to give the top of his bowing head a gentle kiss.

"Just because I'm going to bed doesn't mean I'm gone forever." Snow reassured him gently. "'Sides, I was thinking tomorrow we could do something if you wanted. But in this case...It's kind of been a long day. I just didn't want to overwhelm you." Too late, Snow. He has little awareness of the effects he had on other people sometimes.

"You're not." Yuki said, taking advantage of being of Snow's arms. So he held on a little longer than he should've. "But..you go get some sleep." He couldn't keep Snow with him just to childishly reassure himself that things were okay.

So brave smile was a go as he stepped back and let go. "Please sleep well."

"You know...I could always sleep in here if you wanted me to." Snow pointed out, even if he knew there was a definite risk in saying that openly. Still, the invitation to sleep in his own room was always there.

Somehow it just felt odd to go to bed when Yuki kept retreating like this. He just wanted to let it hit home for him that he was serious.

Yuki didn't want Snow to go but politeness and manners forbade him to ask for anything. Still, his pale face flushed red and he took a step back, fidgeting with Snow's coat trying to avoid his red face.

"You might get into trouble. ."

"I won't...get in trouble. Unless I'm getting in trouble with you. Then I don't know if I'd mind." Snow said carefully, smiling reassuringly. "Promise I'm not going to try anything you're not comfortable with." The way Yuki was playing with the lapel of his coat made him smile, knowing he may have been nervous.

Snow could restrain himself, and even if he would pay for it in the morning with certain reactions he could address that later.

[A sudden hunger rose up in him at Snow's words about being comfortable. And it made his face turn redder and the fidgeting got worse because of thoughts running through his mind regarding Snow and that coat. His nerves went way up and Yuki half felt like he was going to pass out.]

You really do say..the most ridiculous things.
